TANZANIA CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT

TANZANIA CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT:

According to Tanzania Employment and Labour Relations Act CAP. 366 R.E 2019 in section     14, categories contract of employment (a contract with an employee) into three types: -

  1. A contract for an unspecific period of time.
  2. A contract for a specific period of time for professional and managerial cadre,
  3. A contract for a specific task.

These contracts shall be in writing with the following particulars: -

  1. Name, age, permanent address and sex of employee,
  2. Place of recruitment,
  3. Job description,
  4. Date of commencement of employment,
  5. Form and duration of the contract,
  6. Place of work,
  7. Hours of work,
  8. Remuneration and the method of calculation.
